Since 2002, we’ve been helping families create lasting memories in Ocean City, Maryland. Founded by Gail Crosby and Troy Purnell as Resort Rentals, our company became part of the Resort Real Estate family, combining decades of local knowledge with a commitment to exceptional guest experiences.
The Purnell family’s roots in Ocean City’s hospitality industry span four generations, giving us a deep appreciation for the community we call home. As a locally owned and family-managed business, we’ve always believed that success isn’t about being the biggest—it’s about being the best. That philosophy continues to guide everything we do.
In 2022, we proudly rebranded as OCVacations to better distinguish our company as other businesses in Ocean City began using the “Resort Rentals” name. While our name changed, our mission remained the same: providing outstanding vacation experiences and personalized service that keeps guests coming back year after year.
